The SOKÓŁ Małopolska Cultural Center in Nowy Sącz, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, and the Ludwig van Beethoven Association, led by Elżbieta Penderecka, cordially invite music lovers from Nowy Sącz and the surrounding area to a special concert, which will take place on November 11, 2015, at 6:00 PM in the SOKÓŁ Małopolska Cultural Center concert hall in Nowy Sącz as part of the “Still Polish Music” series.
The concert will feature the distinguished Polish soloist Beata Bilińska, winner of the 2015 Fryderyk Award, who will perform Franciszek Lessel’s Piano Concerto in C Major with the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. We will also hear Grazyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for Orchestra and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 2, conducted by the renowned German conductor Christian Schumann. The project was co-financed by the Małopolska Voivodeship and the Minister of Culture and National Heritage.
