Concert “For a Friend”, Krakow

At the Opening Concert on June 26th at the ICE Congress Center, Nigel Kennedy will perform with his jazz band and the Beethoven Academy Orchestra. The concert, titled “For a Friend,” will be dedicated to Jarek Śmietana, with whom Kennedy collaborated for over a dozen years. Alongside compositions by J.S. Bach and N. Kennedy, Śmietana’s works will be performed. The concert will also be the inauguration of the Jarek Śmietana International Jazz Guitar Competition, the main part of which will take place July 1-4 this year.
