During the ceremony attended by the heads of state of Poland and Hungary, a Friendship Gala will be held, with the artistic part of the event graced by the Kielce Dance Theatre with a theatrical performance (contemporary ballet) entitled The Wooden Prince, featuring music by Hungarian composer Béla Bartók and choreography by Elżbieta Pańtak.
The presidents of the friendly countries and an audience of over 700 people will admire the dancers of the Kielce artistic institution in a performance that premiered in June 2018 as part of the Bartok Plus Opera Festival in Miskolc. The dance ensemble will be accompanied by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by Maestro Sebastian Perłowski. According to those who participated in previous editions of Friendship Days, the Kielce Dance Theatre’s proposal will be unique and will give the Gala in Kielce a unique character.
