Continuing the tradition of exclusive New Year’s events in Krakow, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra once again invites you to the NEW YEAR’S CONCERT at ICE KRAKÓW. This year, we will welcome the New Year 2018 in the company of outstanding personalities – vocal virtuosos and regulars of the world’s most important opera stages, including the Metropolitan Opera, Covent Garden and the Vienna State Opera. The stars of this extraordinary evening will be Małgorzata Walewska, Ewa Vesin, Krystian Krzeszowiak and Natalia Rubis-Krzeszowiak.

Accompanied by the 80-piece Beethoven Academy Orchestra conducted by maestro Yannis Pouspourikas, these soloists will perform an exquisite selection of the best opera arias from the repertoires of Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni and other opera masters. The opera programme will be interspersed with intermezzos, Viennese waltzes and overtures, as well as symphonic surprises.
The New Year’s Gala will be hosted by journalist and music columnist Marcin Majchrowski.
The two-part concert, lasting over two hours, will be complemented by New Year’s wishes and a glass of champagne. Evening attire is required!
