The Beethoven Academy Orchestra’s New Year concert tour in the People’s Republic of China is the result of many years of cooperation with the Ludwig van Beethoven Association and the Armstrong Music and Art agency. This year’s edition aims to present the carnival treasures of Slavic music in combination with the tradition of Viennese New Year’s concerts. For the first time, the OAB will perform under the baton of the talented Czech conductor Marek Šedivý.
