The Oświęcim Cultural Center, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, and the Ludwig van Beethoven Association, led by Elżbieta Penderecka, cordially invite music lovers from Oświęcim and the surrounding area to a special concert, which will take place on October 30, 2015, at 7:00 PM, as part of the “Still Polish Music” series, in the auditorium of the Oświęcim Cultural Center at 24 Sniadeckiego Street.
Friday’s concert will feature the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, led by its principal conductor, Maestro Jacek Kaspszyk. The concert will feature Grazyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for Orchestra, Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s Suite in Memory of Henryk Pachulski, and Robert Schumann’s Symphony No. 2.
