The Beethoven Academy Orchestra once again invites you to a New Year’s Eve jazz concert in the extraordinary setting of ICE KRAKÓW. This year, together with the brilliant soloist AGA ZARYAN – multiple Fryderyk Award winner and composer of the music for the film Tragedia dziewczyny ulicznej (The Tragedy of a Street Girl) – we invite you on a journey into the GOLDEN AGE OF JAZZ.
The 90-minute one-act musical performance, accompanied by the Beethoven Academy Orchestra, the EUROPEAN JAZZ TRIO, The Cracow Singers choir, and featuring the talented jazz flutist Ewelina Serafin, will transport you to the unforgettable and extraordinary atmosphere of the 1950s and 1960s. There will be no shortage of standards inspired by the work of Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, and Christmas accents. The whole event will be hosted by journalist and music columnist Marcin Majchrowski.
