The most beautiful operatic arias and duets, along with hits from American musicals \u2013 the Beethoven Academy Orchestra invites you for the first time to a New Year’s Eve concert at the ICE KRAK\u00d3W Congress Center, opening the venue’s annual New Year’s Eve Gala series.<\/p>\n
This will be an extraordinary New Year’s Eve. The ICE KRAK\u00d3W Congress Center will feature distinguished soloists from the Vienna Opera House, the Glyndebourne Festival, the Baden-Baden Festspiele, and opera houses in Poland: soprano Magdalena Molendowska and baritone Ben Connor. They will perform famous arias and duets from the repertoires of Viennese, Italian, and German opera masters, as well as hits from American Broadway, including immortal songs from musicals by Leonard Bernstein and Frederick Loewe. There will also be masterful orchestral works by Ravel, Marquez, and Weinberg.<\/p>\n
German conductor Christian Schumann, a favorite of Krakow audiences and remembered for his outstanding performances at the recent Film Music Festival, will also lead the Beethoven Academy Orchestra in spectacular concert overtures.
