With great honor, the Beethoven Academy Orchestra will open its China tour with a New Year’s Eve concert at Nantong Grand Theatre, as part of the Beethoven Festival Orchestra. The performance of a Polish symphony orchestra offers a unique opportunity to bring European musical tradition to local audiences. The evening program focuses on the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, whose works remain a cornerstone of the symphonic repertoire. Selected pieces showcase different aspects of his musical language, from dramatic expression to more dynamic writing. The concert will be conducted by Jean-Luc Tingaud.
